At ECU Tuning & Automotive, customer satisfaction is important to us. We aim to provide high-quality tuning and performance services, and we stand behind our work. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Software Tuning Only)

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on our ECU remapping and software tuning services, subject to the following conditions:

  • The refund request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the original service date.

  • The vehicle must be returned to us so we can remove the tune and restore it to factory settings.

  • Refunds apply only to software tuning, not mechanical modifications, labour, parts, or third-party components.

  • If the tune has been modified or tampered with by a third party, the refund is void.

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method within 7 business days of approval.

To request a refund, please email ecutuningandautomotive@gmail.com with your name, vehicle details, service date, and reason for the request.

 

Non-Refundable Items & Services

The following are non-refundable:

  • DPF, EGR, or AdBlue deletes (due to legal restrictions and use cases)

  • Parts and accessories

  • Labour and diagnostic services

  • Services rendered after the 14-day window

 

Faults and Issues

If you experience a fault that you believe is related to our service:

  • Contact us immediately to assess the issue

  • If it's found to be directly caused by our software, we will work with you to resolve it, which may include a re-tune or refund at our discretion

We do not cover faults unrelated to our work (e.g., pre-existing mechanical issues or external modifications).

 

Cancellations

  • Appointments cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled or refunded.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee or result in forfeiture of the booking deposit.
